Nottingham Drum Teacher Biography:
I am a drummer based in Nottingham with ten years of experience as well as an A in GCSE music.
I started playing the drums when I was 9 years old. I had a few drum lessons which didn’t last for long then I had to teach my self how to play the drums by learning from youtube. Therefore, I know the struggles that comes with being a self-taught musician. Fast forward to 2020, during the global pandemic, I decided to invest in my drum skills by joining the Drumeo and Impact drum communities which have massively contributed to my growth.
I later joined the worship team at Heart Church which is where I get to use my gift to minister to the congregation on a regular basis.
As a musician that plays the drums, I try to be as versatile as possible by playing a vast variety of genres such as soca, reggae , calypso, funk, R&B, gospel, CCM, etc. Some of the drummers that have contributed to my growth are Larnell Lewis, Eric Moore, Carlin Muccular and Sarah Thawer.
I highly believe that learning an instrument should be fun no matter your age or your level. Whether you’re a complete beginner trying to figure how to play drums or you’re getting back into the swing of things, let me help you achieve your goals.
