Previously we looked at the funk tom tom beats which sound amazing but only use three limbs. So these new beats are a step up from those previous grooves.
Creating funk beats and then moving them to the toms sounds really effective. But once we start utilising the left foot on the hi-hat peddle it really drives the drum beats in a new way. We will learn how to emphasise on the beat, off the beat and on all the eighth notes. And once you learn this technique you can use it every genre and type of drum beat.
