Welcome to Lewis’ Ellesmere Port drum lessons drum teacher profile.
I first became interested in the drums as a young lad, when my older brother began having lessons and let me have a go on his drum kit. This led to me having lessons in school from the age of 11, where I became the drummer in the school rock band and concert band.
At the age of 18 I formed a band called Oranj Son with some close friends from my hometown. With Oranj Son I have played many gigs in the North West over the years, including multiple festival appearances at Liverpool Sound City.
We have also recorded several times in the famous Liverpool Parr Street studios, and those tracks can be heard on major streaming platforms. Recently, I have joined a second band called Blue Dolphin Wranglers, which has been a great experience for me as the music is very different stylistically.
My years of playing experience both live and in the studio, plus my passion to pass on my drumming knowledge to anyone willing to learn, means I am a great fit for new and intermediate drummers alike.
