Can You Make A Living Teaching Drums?

Question: Can you make a living teaching drums?

[REMINDER]: Have you watched the free drum teacher training yet? If not click here.

How much does a drum teacher make, how much does a drum etacher earn, drum teacher income, drum teacher salaryThe answer is simple…..YES!

But let’s break this down so you can really see how much you can earn as a drum teacher. Before we get into this I should say that every country and even every town in each country will fluctuate so it is region specific. But the cost of living also varies in the same way so these example figures are still an accurate measurement which you can apply to your area.

So let’s look at what we help people achieve inside the Drum Teacher Academy simply by following our proven process to build a drum teaching business.

We will use conservative figures here so the reality could be a lot higher.

If you had 40 students a week you might be working 20 hours if each of those  students had only a 30minute lesson. Some would want a 60 minute lesson so this is just an example.

If you charged £20 per 30 minute drum lesson, that would result in £800 per week.

Multiply that by 52 weeks in a year and that’s a £41,600k income from working just 20 hours in a week. At the time of writing the UK average salary was under £32k.

Let that sink in for a moment:

You can create a business doing something you love and earn £10k above the average salary whilst working half the hours of a full time job!

Now I know you won’t really work 52 weeks a year but you can also earn more income by teaching more than 20 hours a week or by using your free time to do sessions, play gigs and create any other income streams using your passion. You will have that spare time to be creative.

How much money can I make as a drum teacher?

Good question, let’s work out exactly how much money you can make from teaching drums. It can seem very overwhelming at first. To work out how much money you can make teaching drums I suggest following these steps:

  1. Research what the going rate is for drum lessons in your area. Our goal here is to charge the top rate whilst offering the best service so students get value for money. We have a plan to achieve that inside the Drum Teacher Academy.
  2. Work out how much money you want to earn each week to have the lifestyle you want.
  3. From there you can work out how many hours you need to teach and therefore, how many drum students you need.
  4. Now you have a crystal clear goal so you can pick a target date to reach that goal. This is a powerful motivator and will stop you procrastinating.
  5. Next we need a marketing plan to reach those potential students. Read below to learn how to do that.

Let me say here that you can have that life where you don’t answer to a boss or have to go to a place of work that you don’t feel passionate about. It is not a pipe dream and it is 100% possible with the right plan in place.

But if you’re not already living that life then you are cheating yourself. You should be doing everything you can to educate yourself, get motivated, get empowered and start learning how you can create that life as soon as possible.

The next step is to watch this free online training. It will show you what you need to get in place and how to market the business.

Please don’t put it off until tomorrow because that is actually just your internal thought process trying to stop you doing it. Do something right now. Scary? Good, that means you’re challenging yourself. Literally do it right now!

Let me leave you with a quote: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
