Teacher's Biography:
My name is Oliver and welcome to my Biddulph drum lessons drum teacher profile. I’ve been drumming for many years and some of my favourite artists include Guns n Roses, Def Leppard, Slipknot and Alice In Chains.
I love music and drumming, and I’m also very aware of how powerful it can be in our lives beyond just being fun.
I was a very anxious and shy teenager and drumming was instrumental in helping me develop more confidence. It was a great outlet for me to express myself.
And that is a big reason why I love to share the power of music with younger students and see the positive mental impact it can have on them.
I currently play in three bands: Sinner, which is a hard-core punk/grunge piece; Luddite, a group which takes inspiration from Deftones and Rage against the machine; and also an events group which performs the soundtrack from GTA Vice City live along with other University Students.
